free? Every year National FFA sponsors the Risk Management
Essay Contest and 10 national winners are selected. Winners and their
advisors will then go on an all expenses paid trip to Washington to

Remarkable News
In 2008 State President
Morgan Parker and State Vice President Michael Sproul had a remarkable
opportunity to meet with President George W. Bush in the White House
during their trip to State Presidents Conference in Washington DC over
the summer. They gathered with representatives from all 50
states and Puerto Rico, as well as the National FFA officers and staff
to discuss National FFA matters and begin working on the national
delegate issues for the upcoming National FFA Convention.
While in Washington they also met with state government officials to
discuss agricultural education topics and toured the city and its many
monuments and histories. |
