How to Join FFA?
FFA is not a "club." It is one of three integral components of an agricultural education program:
a. classroom instruction, b. supervised agricultural experience and c. life skills.
Students between the ages of 12 and 21 who are enrolled in a systematic course of instruction in agricultural education are eligible for membership. FFA is an integral part of an Agricultural Education program. To join FFA you must be enrolled in an Agriculture Course at your school.
Contact your School Counselor or Agriculture Teacher to enroll in an Agricultural Education program and join FFA.
Your local school system must offer agricultural instruction and have an active FFA chapter for you to join. If your school doesn't have an agricultural education program, you can take steps to open a program in your school. To accomplish this you should contact our state agricultural education staff to express your interest and ask for assistance.
Please note that in New Hamsphire the law requires that if your local School District does not offer Agricultural Education, you can submit a request to be sent to a School District that does.
